Monday February 9th 2026 - Upper Tideway Branch
7.45pm Venetian River Fetes, a talk by Andrew George on the bygone practice of holding these events on our part of the river. A Venetian Fete was a pageant where the floats were boats. The climax was often a firework display. Cost £5. Event organised by the Richmond Local History Society at Duke Street Curch, Quadrant Road, Richmond TW9 1DH.

Tuesday February 17th 2026 - Central Tideway & Estuary Branch
Visit to London Canal Museum, 12-13 New Wharf Road, London N1 9RT

Nearest station is King's Cross. Meet at the museum at 11.30am. (entrance fees are £6/£7.50).
